We are So Proud of Monte!

Avery's soon to be Uncle Monte completed the Boston Marathon last Monday in an incredible time! He ran 26.2 miles in only 2 hours and 51 minutes! For those of you non runners, he basically ran 6minute 26-30 second miles the entire time! He sure is a machine and we are so proud of him. Katrina and Hannah flew to Boston to support him. Hopefully by the time Avery starts running Uncle Monte will have moved his family to California. He can be Avery and Hannah's running coach! CONGRATS MONTE! You continue to amaze us with your athletic accomplishments...What's next for you?

24 WEEKS and Counting
I am just hitting the 6 month mark and feeling fantastic minus being tired. I have been running about 4 days a week and going on hikes with Otto as well. Trying to keep up with an extremely active K-9 is quite difficult.
I went to see Dr. Oliveira today. Avery's heartbeat was a strong 154 and I gained 3 pounds since last month's visit. Not much to report which is good. We are anxious about our 11 day vacation to Puerta Vallarta in 3 weeks! We will get to spend time with Monte, Trina, and Hannah. Can't wait to see our niece walking or should I say running all over the place. We'll upload some pictures when we get back in town. Bye for now!
