Avery's Soon To Be BFF

Our dear friends, JT and Katie are expecting their son James late June. We are having so much fun comparing pregnancy stories with them. I am so grateful that Katie is going through everything 6 weeks ahead of me. She always prepares me for what my next Dr. appt will be like and what to expect along the way. Avery and James are going to have so many playdates and we look forward to sharing our lives with the Tiptons!

20 Weeks Marks the Half Way Point!

Last Thursday the 19th of March, I hit the half way point in my pregnancy. I am having so much fun shopping and registering. Strollers, cribs, and baby paraphernalia is a whole new world to me. Thank goodness for my sister whom I constantly call for advice!
My belly is growing a bit and I should start to feel Avery move anytime now. I am still running and exercising which keeps me sane.

Otto The Graduate

Otto graduated yesterday top of his class in bomb detection. Brandon and Otto have been enjoying a 6 week bomb course here in the east bay. The instructors are astonished with Otto's work and they gave him a lot of praise. Needless to say, Otto and Brandon start back to work in a few days and I am so sad that they'll be returning to nights. I have been loving having both of them home in the early afternoons. We have been able to eat dinner and breakfast together which is a treat for us all!

Thanksgiving 2008: One to Never Forget

Thanksgiving was when we found out that I was pregnant. Brandon was at the gym and I walked to Safeway to pick up some early pregnancy tests, thinking that they really wouldn't be able to tell. Sure enough, after three tests, they were all positive and we found out 5 days early! We went to my Mom's for Thanksgiving dinner and were able to tell both our family's together. It was a Thanksgiving that we will never forget!

Our Vacation in Greece Summer of 2008. Santorini was absolutely breathtaking and we can't wait to go back one day.
